Fall has arrived and the 2011 Fishing Season here out of St Joseph/Benton Harbor has been a very good year.  Now is the time to catch Steelhead, Whitefish, Coho, Brown Trout and all others that are making their Fall Run.  Stock up on Flat Fish and Hot N Tots to stay prepared to catch the fish during the Fall Bite.     We are around Monday thru Friday from 8am to 5pm and just a phone call away. 

River Fishing as well as Pier fishing has been good.   Anglers are catching whitefish and are mostly using Spawn or Wax Worms.  Steelhead are slowing working their way into the River and a few have been taken off the Pier.   A few Coho and Salmon are still being caught in the St Joe and Paw Paw rivers and also Steelhead.    Anglers are using Oslo Spinners, Rapalas, and some spoons and Hot N Tots.  Also catching Steelhead on Spawn,

CONGRATULATIONS to Team TACKLE HAVEN (Bottom RIGHT)for winning the 2011 Southwest Michigan Steelheaders Summer Challenge Amateur Division.  Also pictured on Bottom Left is Nate and Zach fishing on Tackle Haven and showing off their 24# 5oz King which won Big Fish in the last Trifecta Challenge Tournament.   Top Right is Team COHO'S AIM who won the third tournament this year with a total of 71# 5oz and showing off their weigh in catch of 5 fish.
