Breaking Great Lakes salmon trolling into downrigger, Dipsy diver and copper/lead core presentations, Okuma Convector GL rods cover the spread with premium construction, actions and performance. Developed in conjunction with top anglers, Convector GL rods begin with E-glass blanks reinforced with Okuma EVO Graph technology which adds a layer of woven carbon fiber to the exterior of the rod for superior strength with minimal weight. Triangular EVA fore grips reduce rod twist in the hand for comfortable fish fighting. Guides are all of strong, double foot construction and copper/lead core models feature stainless steel welded guides for incredible durability.
